Junior Graphic Designer
About the role
As a Junior Graphic Designer at forpeople, you'll help create the identities, systems and digital experiences that shape some of the world's biggest brands.
Working alongside experienced designers, strategists and multidisciplinary teams, you'll play an active role on live projects while continuing to develop your creative confidence and technical craft. You’ll have wide abilities, as one week you might be developing identity concepts, the next refining a digital experience, creating motion assets or experimenting with new AI-powered workflows. Through it all, you'll learn how to develop ideas from initial concept through to delivery while building confidence working with colleagues and clients.
We're looking for someone with strong personal design fundamentals, a burning curiosity for what's next, and a desire to keep learning. Someone who's excited by the future of design and wants to help shape it.
What your day might look like:
Developing brand identities, visual systems and digital experiences across a range of projects
Using cutting edge AI and emerging tools to support research, ideation and creative exploration
Exploring concepts through sketching, prototyping and visual storytelling
Creating thoughtful, well-crafted design across a range of touchpoints
Collaborating with designers, strategists and writers throughout the creative process
Contributing to workshops, presentations and creative reviews
Managing your own time and workload while seeking feedback at the right moments
Contributing to wider studio initiatives and day-to-day activities while continuing to develop your skills
Who we'd like to find
Since 2004, we’ve grown from only four to over a hundred by finding the right people – people that don’t only slot right into our studio culture, but bring something incredible to it.
This role calls for someone who brings:
Big ideas – As a studio we work across visual, verbal, 3Dimensional and digital experiences – but the big idea is always the most important part of what we do. You're developing your conceptual thinking, contribute ideas with confidence, and enjoy exploring different creative directions.
Strong design craft – Typography, composition and visual communication are your foundations. You have a portfolio that demonstrates precision, attention to detail and a genuine love of graphic design.
Digital & AI fluency – You're comfortable designing for digital environments and naturally explore emerging tools as part of your creative process. Whether it's Figma, motion, AI workflows or emerging technology, you're excited by how they can enhance creativity and help shape the future of design.
Curiosity & experimentation – You enjoy exploring new techniques, technologies and cultural trends, and aren't afraid to experiment. You actively seek inspiration from beyond graphic design and are always looking to learn.
Something unexpected – Alongside your graphic design skills, we'd love to see what else you bring. Whether it's animation, photography, filmmaking, illustration, creative coding, writing, music or something we've never considered before, we want to see what makes you uniquely you.
Specifically, you'll have:
A portfolio demonstrating excellent graphic design fundamentals and a strong eye for visual craft
Previous experience in a creative studio, agency or in-house team (including internships or placements)
Confidence using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
Strong typography, composition and visual communication skills
Curiosity about digital experiences, emerging technologies and the future of design
A desire to push creative boundaries across brand, motion and digital design
A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for learning
A genuine passion for design and creativity
Strong communication and presentation skills
The right to work in the UK
