Vision Intern
About the role
We're looking for a talented and curious Vision Intern to join our London studio for a five-month paid internship.
You'll work alongside experienced designers while contributing to live client projects, helping define the visual worlds behind brands, products and experiences. Combining research, cultural insight and emerging trends with visual storytelling, colour, tactility and tech, you'll help shape how brands look, feel and are experienced. Meanwhile, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a collaborative studio while learning from some of the industry's best.
We're looking for outstanding visual thinkers. Strong creative instincts are the foundation, but we also love people who bring something a little different to the team. It's often those additional interests, perspectives and creative pursuits that make our strongest teams even stronger.
What your day might look like:
Researching cultural, consumer and design trends to inspire future thinking
Gathering and curating visual inspiration to help shape creative directions
Creating mood boards and visual narratives
Helping to define colour theories, material boards and visual directions
Researching and sourcing materials
Exploring photography styles, sensory experiences and styling
Collaborating with designers across brand, digital, industrial design, CMF and strategy
Taking part in workshops, research and testing sessions
Bringing your own creative interests and perspectives into project work
Supporting wider studio projects and day-to-day activities while continuing to learn and develop
Presenting your project work in internal team meetings
Who we'd like to find
Since 2004, we’ve grown from only four to over a hundred by finding the right people – people that don’t only slot right into our studio culture, but bring something incredible to it.
This role calls for someone who brings:
Big ideas — As a studio we work across visual, verbal, 3Dimensional and digital experiences – but the big idea is always the most important part of what we do. You're curious, enjoy exploring different ways to solve problems, and are keen to contribute ideas as part of the creative process.
Strong creative foundations — You're a visual thinker with a great eye for imagery, a strong sensitivity for materials, colour composition and have an intriguing take on storytelling. You enjoy researching culture, spotting emerging trends and turning inspiration into compelling creative directions, brand worlds and visual narratives.
Embraces Variety — One of our strengths is the variety of clients and projects that come through our doors. We're looking for someone who enjoys working across different types of projects, collaborating with people from different disciplines and learning new ways of thinking.
AI-native — You're curious about how AI is changing creative work and already use it as part of your process. Whether it's prompting, rapid exploration, generating ideas or learning new tools, you're excited by emerging technologies and curious about how they can enhance creativity – not replace it.
Something unexpected — Alongside your strong palpable design skills, we'd love to see what else you bring. Whether it's fashion, interiors, material design, photography, filmmaking, animation, illustration, creative writing, science, space, AI experimentation, music or something we've never considered before, we want to see what makes you uniquely you.
Specifically, you’ll have:
A portfolio that demonstrates creativity, visual storytelling and strong conceptual thinking, while also giving us a glimpse into what makes you creatively unique. We want to see not only what you can do, but what you could bring to our studio
Confidence using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop
A great eye and sensitivity towards materials and colour
Great attention to detail and visual craft
A genuine curiosity about brands, culture, design, innovation and emerging trends
A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for learning
Strong communication and presentation skills
The right to work in the UK
